DIY Serving Tray

This tray carries and serves a standard 9×13″ baking dish! Perfect for your casserole cookin’, or Christmas cookie deliveries, or something a little nicer...wine and beautiful stem ware!  The possibilities are endless.

Build your box first…
I attached mine using Gorilla Wood Glue and finish nails.
Now add your bottom slats
I gave the whole tray a coat of Rustoleum Dark Walnut Stain
While that was drying, I added my handles! I found these great pulls at Hobby Lobby
(gotta love the 40% coupon!)
Then I gave them a coat of Rustoleum White spray paint
Got the ol' handy dandy sander and "roughed" it up a bit.
Waxed it, and it was done!
This can be stained as well. Rustoleum has many different colors to choose from.

This is super easy to make!  Would be great Christmas gifts!  Let me know if you are interested in any of my projects for your Christmas gift giving!

                                          Enjoy!
